In case you wondered about the people behind LOTUSWEI, I wanted to share a bit about our small, but growing team. What we all have in common is that we LOVE working for a good cause (like saving the world through flowers!) and we love making people happy.
Taylor loves being able to capture the essence of a place through photos, videos, + sound clips! Taking random road trips, hiking, + discovering new coffee shops whenever she can are just a few things that fuel her creativity. A life long passion of Taylor's is playing sand volleyball + her favorite eats: fish tacos, any asian dish, + raw vegan cheesecake. She's a lover of superhero movies, spending time with her grandma in Idaho, getting really lost (but not too lost) in the wild, + tai chi. Taylor doesn't hate many things but blue cheese + being too cold are the exceptions. If you catch her daydreaming there's a good chance it's about her secret dream of becoming a choreographer for pop music videos. This beauty revealer is AMAZING at giving people the space to talk, open up, + immediately feel understood + at ease.

MORNING GLORY: Radiant. Affectionate. Evanescent.
Kate is a lover of chocolate, coffee, anything to do with textiles + cooking huge breakfasts {she makes the best pancakes in the world!}! She's backpacked in the Himalayas, explored the streets of Bangkok, snorkeled in Costa Rica + basked in the rolling hills of the English countryside. Wherever Kate is, she simply enjoys sitting outside + enjoying the view! She loves using her knowledge of the profound + transformative impact of flower essences to expand the ripple effect of the amazing, magical power of flowers.

WHITE DAISY: Pure. Playful. Grounded.
Jimmy lives in Singapore, though he's been making frequent trips to Nepal, as in the photo above. He's jovial, has a huge heart and loves sunsets. He knows all the secrets to making Peking Duck, an extraordinarily exquisite Chinese dish that requires two whole days of preparation. He's observant, fearless, strategic + appreciative of the little (big) things in life. He likes to learn about other cultures + has traveled quite a bit. He can 'jimmy-rig' (jerry-rig) just about anything with duct tape; if he got stranded on an island he would welcome the challenge.

JUNIPER: Fresh. Refreshing. Awakening.
Lindsey has been ALL around the world not just traveling, but also helping under privileged people in every country she visits. She got her scuba diving certification in Tahiti, has traveled to over 20 different countries, + has even saved 2 baby wallabies during her time in Australia #notkidding. It's no wonder to our team as to why everyone is drawn to her - she has a way of meeting + understanding you wherever you may be. In her free time, Lindsey loves to stay active, hang out with her dogs + family, research about skincare, + garden. Believe it or not, we're constantly finding out new things about Lindsey + she surprises us at every turn. She's currently writing a children's book, has intense love for Lord of the Rings, + is an outstanding painter.

SUNFLOWER: hopeful, positive, wise
Tessa is our photo-taking, horse-loving, Lord of the Rings-obsessed Fearless Navigator. She is currently in school for sustainability, loves thrifting clothes + repurposing furniture and has a fascination for how things work ~ ie. she stays awake at night looking up things like “what happens to your brain when you sleep” or “how do you make a pen?” She loves to travel; has mined for star garnets in Idaho, Hiked stairway to Heaven in Hawaii and plans on taking a trip to Norway or Patagonia soon! Her secret wishes? She wants to be a geologist + has dream plans of being a late-blooming actress.

RED ROSE: timeless, memorable, blissful
I'm a flower freak. I'm giddiest when I'm taking iphonography photos of crazy-looking flowers & plants in jungles, forests or botanical gardens. I've traveled to just under 20 countries & though everywhere has its charm, I feel totally at home in Asia. Yellow & orange fruits bring me joy - like persimmons, mangos, jackfruit & nectarines - though sometimes I think I could just live on kombucha & dark chocolate. I love Korean-style bathhouses & Japanese hot springs & I believe 100% in the power of meditation.
