As we’ve begun to teach sacred ceremonies and botanical rituals, we’d like to clarify by sharing our philosophy on plant wisdom, what that means to us, and how to use it to reach our full potential.
In the utmost respectful way, our Plant Wisdom Philosophy is this:
Anything that takes you away from awareness, takes you further away from realizing your full potential as a human being.
Psychedelic plants have become very trendy over the last few years. And while we respect the cultural traditions that these practices come from, this is not what plant wisdom means to LOTUSWEI.
From our perspective, it is possible to attain awakening with spiritual practices, and at a rate that’s much more profound and sustainable. In addition, there are tens of thousands of plants on this planet, each one with specific healing benefits. But by focusing on only a handful of plants that cause mind-altering states and intense physical reactions, we lose out on developing a deep sensitivity, listening, and awareness with all the other plants on the Earth. In our experience, the more subtle a remedy, the deeper it goes, resulting in long-term results that wake up our inner wisdom + help us to see our true nature.
