SUNSET MEDITATION PRACTICE

Sungazing is an ancient meditation practice found in many cultures. It balances the pineal gland, regulates sleep cycles, stimulates rejuvenation and boosts vitality.

HERE'S HOW TO DO IT:

When the sun is approaching the horizon, begin looking at the lowermost edge of the sun. Follow this point until it slips below the horizon. Then shift your gaze to
the uppermost edge of the sun.

Follow it with your gaze until the entire sun slips below the horizon. Breathe and rest in the stillness for as long as you can.

As with every practice, there is great potential for growth in the observation of the practice.

Try watching the sun set this week and observe how it makes YOU feel.
