WHEN THINGS GET HARD ...
Share
Taylor here!
In the last 2 months, I’ve seen flashes of the incredible ups & downs that life can deliver.
For example …
Katie & I unexpectedly lived in the glorious Grand Tetons, WY for 1 month this summer, and shot the pilot episode of a new YouTube show.
My favorite 17 y/o in the world (my niece) landed the lead role in a school play … and it’s her first time ever taking a drama class!
I witnessed a baby being born for the first time.
At the same time … there have been a handful of heartbreaking moments within our community that have brought us to our knees.
Unexpected & way-too-early deaths in the family.
Major floods devastating homes & lives across the world.
Healthy, young & vibrant friends having serious health scares.
When we hear of hardships like this, we send flowers.
The three flower essence blends we recommend during these moments of intensity:
SACRED HEART ~ to tend to the broken hearts of those grieving from great loss
The soothing mist is incredibly comforting & fast-acting. We’ve seen time & time again, with those who are in a state of grief, when we mist them in our brick & mortar store, they’ll immediately start crying … but the kind of tears that release some of the heavy tension & weight they’ve been carrying on their hearts.
BOUNDLESS WISDOM ~ to support the nervous system & prevent trauma from being lodged into our cellular memory
I love using the anointing oil or serum of this blend. When there’s some sort of trauma that’s occurred or is consuming your mind, lovingly applying something to skin brings you back into your body & into the present moment.
INNER PEACE ~ to be the sense of soothing calm in times of high stress & hysteria
For this blend, I recommend the elixir. Add it to all your beverages (and everyone you’re with) and watch your state of mind transform to feeling more grounded, stable & impervious to external chaos.
While writing this blog, a quote from my spiritual teacher kept playing in my head:
"Life is meaningful if you do things that help other beings."
~ KARMA SANGYE RAPTEN
If you know anyone who is struggling with something, having a hard time pulling themselves out of a dark place, or has experienced a great loss recently … I want to invite you to send them some flower remedies.
Small gestures of kindness like this go a long way ~ it may even change someone’s life.
To inspire you, I want to share some heart warming stories of how the flower essences have been employed [with the help of real life flower superheroes] to help those who are facing great loss & hardship:
Hannah Craig & Amanda Love in Austin, Texas

When the devastating floods hit the Hill Country in Texas this summer, these two ladies on the ground jumped into action.
After receiving a package of flower essences we sent, they took it upon themselves to create gorgeous care packages and hand-deliver them to families who lost loved ones to the flood waters:
A family who lost their daughter at Camp Mystic.
A woman who was on the phone with her grandmother & cousin as the river swept them away.
A family who lost their 17-year-old daughter to the fierce current. Driving through Central Texas, a torrential downpour made it impossible to see that a bridge had been washed out. With no time to stop, the family of five plunged into a raging river inside their minivan. Malaya, the 17 y/o bodhisattva, heroically managed to open the car door, allowing the entire family to escape. In total darkness, they fought to stay above water—desperately searching for land. Malaya was swept away & was found in her final resting place, sitting peacefully upright, beneath trees & wrapped in nature.
And many more.
Joe & Stacey in Dripping Springs, TX
Owners of 12 Fox Beer Co & Founders of Fireside Chats, a weekly support group for veterans & retired military, law enforcement, firefighters and frontline workers to connect & find community
Joe & Stacey have lovingly received mists & elixirs (plus containers full of essential supplies for flood victims) and have organized massive crews to deliver directly to families who lost everything. The flower essences also helped support rescue & recover teams and volunteers with boots on the ground putting a huge dent in the clean up needs.
May this instigate a wave of supporting one another through acts of loving-kindness.
Love & flower petals,
Taylor
