SHARPEN YOUR PERCEPTION MOCKTAIL RECIPE

December 15, 2023

During our in-store launch of our newest Awakened Perception flower elixir, along with making delicious treats like baked apple pie bites and brandy-butter bacon bits, Justin whipped out the coolest mocktail for our guests:

Sharpen your Perception Mocktail

It's simple, interactive & of course tastes delicious!

INGREDIENTS:

Orange Bitters
Blue Pea Flower Tea
Sparkling Water - we love Purely Sedona
Elderberry Tonic Water
Awakened Perception Elixir
Joy Juice Mist
Kumquats & raspberries
Edible Marigold flowers

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. 2-3 hours before making the drink, steep your blue pea flower tea. Strain & add to a bottle you can easily pour from.
  2. To start building your mocktail, add a few dashes of orange bitters to the bottom of the glass.
  3. Fill the glass 1/3 full of blue pea flower tea.
  4. Fill the glass until just about 2/3 full with sparkling water.
  5. Add 5 drops of the Awakened Perception flower elixir.
  6. This is the crescendo moment. If you want to be steezy like Justin (he recently taught us that word ~ it means you make style look easy lol), grab the Joy Juice Mist in your right hand, and the tonic water in your left hand. At the same time, mist the top of the glass & top the drink with tonic water. The chemical reaction of the tonic water with the blue pea tea will turn the mocktail pink! Which is so fun because it will appear as though the pink flowers in Joy Juice are actually making this happen. If that talented execution sounds too wild to simultaneously pull off without making a mess, mist the glass first, then add the tonic water. This method may even come off as more steezy.; )
  7. Lastly, top the glass with a skewer of kumquats & raspberries. Justin made his look like hot dogs which was super entertaining. Then finish with a sprinkle of marigold petals on the top!
  8. Serve it up or enjoy!

If you make the mocktail with your friends or family, make sure to tag @lotuswei + @chefjustinbooher on any social channels you post on so we can see!

Happy thoughts,
