MARINE CORPS VETERAN: SOFTENS HIS HEART WITH FLOWER ESSENCES

MARINE CORPS VETERAN: SOFTENS HIS HEART WITH FLOWER ESSENCES

The Warriors of the Unseen Truth project celebrates & shares the real stories of veterans & first responders who carry invisible wounds from their service—trauma, emotional interference, and the quiet battles that often remain unseen. These are stories of deep, foundational healing that allows warriors to return home to themselves, their families and their lives. The Warriors of the Unseen Truth program provides personalized flower essence support, education and sponsorship opportunities so that every veteran or first responder who needs this work can access it. Casey West served 4.5 years in the Marine Corps. In that time, he was exposed to environmental toxins that made him very ill

In 2022, he was diagnosed with glioblastoma, terminal brain cancer – and given 3 months to live.

Casey is one of the first veterans who went through the Warriors of the Unseen Truth project – and ultimately helped design it in the process.

We recorded a few videos with Casey describing his experience with his personalized flower essence protocol.

He shares about learning how to "exist in the garden" – a place of beauty, softness & love, instead of the battlefield – something you don’t need to be a soldier to relate to.

From warrior mode to accessing the power of softness.

It takes a profound level of mental strength, discipline & awareness to serve as a protector of a nation.

On the flip side, there is a different level of strength required to be vulnerable, to surrender, to open up space to feel emotions within ourselves & others.

It takes deep courage to bear witness to what we’re experiencing – or what our loved ones are experiencing – to allow ourselves to feel compassion & empathy.

It takes a tremendous capacity to allow a visceral experience of unconditional love.

Ultimately, there is nothing more important in life than being there for ourselves and for the ones we love.

We all face difficulty & intensity, whether it’s uncovering traumas or fears, experiencing sickness, aging, death, transitions, heartbreak, grief, loss.

We can’t stop the intensity, but we can face it with courage & softness.

We can look in the eyes of our greatest fears with warrior-like strength and flower-like softness.

We can get real, expand our capacity to hold the messiness of life, and in doing so –

We can more deeply experience the profound beauty that life has to offer.
