FLOWER HUNTERS: Will we find the elusive Fairy Slipper Orchid? Season 1 Episode 1
Have you ever had that feeling where you’re really excited about something, but also terribly embarrassed by it?
Kinda like when you’re in a dance circle and someone asks you to go into the middle and bust a move … it's both exciting and mortifying.
A part of us wants to be seen and expressed and loved in all of our goofy weirdness.
And a part of us is like – please nooooo …
When Taylor showed me the final cut for our first episode of FLOWER HUNTERS, there were so many parts where I just cringed or shouted loudly, because it’s SO ridiculous!
You’d think I was watching a football game, lol.
We look like such goofballs. The way we talk and express ourselves. We’re so dorky. Forehead slap.
But ... no going back now!
And here’s the MOST interesting part – which we didn’t even realize until editing:
You can literally perceive the energetic effects of the flowers & nature on us throughout the episodes.
If you compare the “us” that you see in episode 1 vs. who you see in episode 3 – we are VASTLY different!
Even in episode 1, there’s a moment when my boots get FULL of pristine mountain creek water … and right after that – my entire energy shifts. It’s visceral even just watching it happen!
Here's the most fascinating part of this project: viewing the footage feels like a direct transmission of what it's like to be out in the Grand Tetons & Yellowstone.
