EP 09: Practicing YOU Through Works Of the Heart with Elena Brower
I met Elena Brower almost a decade ago in Lake Tahoe at Wanderlust after one of her yoga classes. We hit it off and continued our friendship: each time I visited NYC, we had meetings in the local sauna or over masala dosas while sitting on the street bench. One time I even crashed at Elena's beautiful apartment while she was out of town. Together, we organized events with Dr. Frank Lipman, Lisa Reinhardt of Wei of Chocolate and at Kripalu. Elena has always been super supportive of our work with flower elixirs; she has shared our Infinite Love Mist with yoga students from ABC Home classes to massive Central Park events. I have always appreciated Elena's drive to innovate and challenge herself to the next level.
Elena Brower is a renowned author, yoga teacher and speaker. Influenced by several yoga traditions, she's recognized internationally for her practices and her realistic reverence. She's the author of Art of Attention, a yoga workbook that has been translated into six languages, Practice You, just released in September 2017 and already a bestseller, and the creator of Teach.yoga, a virtual home for yoga teachers worldwide. Elena’s most recent book, Practice You, was a work of her heart, painted in the months after her mother passed and helped her heal and move forward. Here are some assets and words about it.
