August 01, 2020

Intuitive astrologer Kristina Wingeier is back for another episode of the MOONSHINE series on the #FlowerloungePodcast. We dive deep into what to expect this lunar cycle, important dates to throw on your calendar + flower elixirs recommended for getting a jump on *stabilizing* for it all!

WEEK 1 • 04:40

Terse. Power structures. Restructuring. Systems breaking and rebuilding. It’s a confrontation in some ways. You may find new ways of taking what you’re seeing outside as a reflection of what’s happening inside of you. It’s about health and emotional intelligence. Macro Mercury: business, media, schools - how is that showing up in your personal life?

Sunday, August 2: Sun in Leo Square Uranus in Taurus

This has a restless unpredictable vibe, and it’s on the FM Eve so the energy is electric, buzzy, nervous. Notice your mind and your heart. Your Leo house is getting a beautiful infusion of creativity and an illumination of the mind.

Monday, August 3: Full Moon in Aquarius

Look back to six months ago New Moon in Aquarius: January 24th, 2020

Cosmic reset after an eclipse. It was the first non-eclipsed lunation. It was also murky and lots of things happening under the radar.

Full Moon now: the mind and the heart. The visions, innovations, technology and the living, breathing heart. Lions (Leo) hang out in the community.

Stay hydrated, be in nature, get into heartspace. Leo wants to move & play. Dance parties. Where can we find our Leo joy? Bring it into a creative, playful, fun loving game. Venus is out of retrograde, that’s a nice aspect.

Mercury is also opposite Saturn -- Saturn is about rules/restrictions.

Tuesday, August 4: Mercury Enters Leo Through August 9

Mercury has been in Cancer since March.

Mars in Aries square Jupiter (rx) in Capricorn - the first of three squares (8/4; 10/18 Mars rx; 1/22/21 Mars in Taurus/Jupiter in Aquarius)

We’re getting a preview of the Mars Retrograde, when things slow down, we feel impatient and .. This is a hint where we get to preview something that we’ll get to look at a couple times more. We can use this as an infusion of courage and strength. Jupiter is in Capricorn (a little repressed). There might be challenges with work, office, job, children …. Some area in your life where there will be a conflict of wills.

Friday, August 7: Venus Enters Cancer (through Sept 6)

Venus has been in since April.

Love, values, art, money, relationships. Venus is looking for a security blanket and Mercury is up on soap boxes speaking their truth. She’s out of her shadow and moving forward in Cancer.

WEEK 2 • 28:22

Monday, August 10: Mercury in Leo Square Uranus in Taurus

Brings about innovative thinking, as long as you care for your nervous system. Expect to be overstimulated and possibly irritated. A day for a creative breakthrough -- it can show up as tense conversations or a creative innovation.

Thursday, August 13: Mars in Aries Square Pluto (rx) in Capricorn

(8/13; 10/9 Mars rx; 12/23)

Serious power struggles and confrontations. Feels out of our control. This confrontation - you might feel like you have a lot of energy for a fight, but this is the first unfolding, so notice where it’s happening, because it will arise again. What battles are worth fighting for? Oh, this is how I lose energy; I can retrieve this back and give it to myself.

Saturday, August 15:
Uranus Stations Retrograde through Jan 14, 2021
Venus MoonGate/Venus max Morning Elongation

It’s an opportunity to work with your intuition and inner knowing.

Uranus stationing Rx - about liberation, authenticity and sudden change - this is a review period for that. REassessing some of the changes and reflecting on long-term effects. It will feel like a pulse beating in the background; it would be too dramatic.

Sunday, August 16: Sun in Leo Trine Mars in Aries

Lots of fire; be fun and playful and creative, we’ll be able to channel this well.

Venus in Cancer square Chiron (rx) in Aries.

Healing our inner child.

Mercury in Leo trine Mars in Aries.

WEEK 3 • 38:30

Monday, August 17: Sun Conjunct Mercury in Leo (Cazimi)

A creative spark being lit in the heart; something coming in the darkness, an inner light, a flash of joy, some kind of project that you’ll be working on in the coming months. Fortune favors the bold. If you need to ask for something, say something, you might find the courage to say it or the playful language to use for a powerful communication.

Tuesday, August 18 7:42pm PT: New Moon in Leo
Venus in Cancer Sextile Uranus RX in Taurus

Planting seeds now, set intentions that will  take shape and fruition in February 2021. Trine to Mars gives us a boost of confidence. Trine to South Node so there’s an invitation to let go of doing things you’ve been doing them, especially if there is self-righteousness (I know the right way for you). Learning that our truth is not always others’ truth. Learning to speak from the heart truth, not the ego truth. Allowing our hearts to drive us, not our egos. Vesta asks, what are you committing to? It’s a time of new strategies and new direction vs. looking backwards.

Wednesday, August 19: Mercury Enters Virgo through Sept 15

Mercury is happy in Virgo. It’s a great time to make use of the energy of getting organized, streamlined and cleaning out. Do a digital clearing - delete and unsubscribe to make more space, so that you’re curating a more supportive source of information for your nervous system. Analyze your inbox, your speech, your habits of communication, and the way you mind works.

Saturday, August 22: Sun Enters Virgo

What is the project that you need to organize? What can you clean out? Sort through and find what’s meaningful to you. What can you actually digest? Practical, pragmatic, grounded, sacred service. You can have little ceremonies within your work.

WEEK 4 • 52:40

Monday, August 24: Mars in Aries Square Saturn (RX) in Capricorn

(8/24; 9/28 Mars rx/Saturn st; 1/13/21 Mars in Taurus/Saturn in Aquarius)

This is the big one, the grandaddy. Listen, you’re gonna wanna poke at something. Things are getting more contentious. Mars is wanting to take action and wanting freedom. Saturn is the wall of rules, restrictions, systems. This will be like this for the rest of the year. Mars trying to break down the wall and Saturn holding up the wall. A lot of energy of feeling like you want to take action but you’re being stopped. Things may not go as quickly/easily -- there might be a bump in the road.

Tuesday, August 25: Mercury in Virgo Trine Uranus in Taurus

Innovative thinking and creative new solutions. Come up with a new plan.

Venus in Cancer opposite Jupiter in Capricorn: Venus is a little emotional and Jupiter is wishing he didn’t feel so heavy, trying to keep hope in a very tense situation. Figuring out how to work with heavy energy in a new way.

Thursday, August 27: Venus in Cancer Trine Neptune (RX) in Pisces

This can feel dreamy, mystical, creative OR confused or like you want to check out or numb out.

Saturday, August 29: Mercury in Virgo Trine Jupiter (rx) in Capricorn

Mercury had a new idea at the beginning of the week, so perhaps Jupiter in Cap will help us understand how to bring our creative ideas to fruition. Take advantage of new aspects in life.

Sunday, August 30: Venus in Cancer Opposite Pluto (rx) in Capricorn

Power struggles in relationships, passion, power games, challenges

Mercury in Virgo opposite Neptune (rx) in Pisces: Busy ourselves in a project, turn on netflix and sort through this box, feels like it could be very numbing

To get a jump start on stabilizing for the shifts these cosmic shifts will instigate, below are the flowers I recommend for this lunar cycle:

TRUTHTELLER: Infused with a bouquet of the most powerful flowers for speaking your truth, this powerhouse blend helps us be more confident to ask for exactly what we want, without fears, hesitations or insecurities about whether or not you 'deserve' it. It allows us to be driven by our conviction and wish to benefit others and go after the things we've been 'just thinking' about going after. It strengthens our ways of expression that enhances engagement with others, and gives us courage to speak freely about what's inside of us.⠀

TAIWANESE AZALEA IN OUR FLOWEREVOLUTION PROGRAMThe Taiwanese Azalea helps us see from a higher perspective: the moment we think we have it all figured out, something else arises. It dissolves the sense that there is only one way, or that what we want is unattainable, or too much to ask for. It helps us let go of holding back, so we can offer ourselves more generously to the world.
